Little Dragon Tales: Chinese Children’s Songs
Little Dragon Tales is a collection of 12 classic Chinese Children’s songs with a modern twist. Produced by the electronic music group The Shanghai Restoration Project, the album features the voices of the Yip’s Canada Children’s Choir. In partnership with Cheng & Tsui Company and IODA, the album is available in both CD and digital format.
Dave Liang is the Emmy winning creator and producer of The Shanghai Restoration Project, a musical group that blends traditional Chinese instrumentation and culture with hip-hop and electronica. His music has reached #1 on several electronic charts around the world and can often be heard in global advertising campaigns, television shows, and tastemaker radio programs. The Shanghai Restoration Project has received coverage in The New York Times, NPR's All Things Considered, BBC World Service, FADER Magazine, Wired.com, PRI's The World, The San Francisco Chronicle, and The Wall Street Journal.
Yip's Children's Choir Canada, a non-profit subsidiary of the internationally acclaimed Yip's Children's Choir (Hong Kong), was founded in 1990 in Toronto. The choir is dedicated to the promotion of formal music and fine arts education in children and youth.
Cheng & Tsui is an independent publisher and distributor of Asian language-learning textbooks and educational materials.
